Two Decades of Engineering

Twenty years ago I co-built from the first lines of code what is now one of Poland's largest e-commerce platforms. Today I design BPMN-driven financial decisioning systems and AI-integrated architectures. The problems got harder. So did I.

I'm Michał — Principal Systems Architect and AI Architect with two decades of building production systems across fintech, automotive, e-commerce, and SaaS — for clients in Poland, Australia, the US, and Asia-Pacific.

My career has a thread running through it: I keep finding myself at the beginning of things. I was there when Frisco.pl was writing its first lines of code — Poland's first online grocery store, now heading toward 1 billion PLN in annual revenue. I was there when a US-backed fintech needed someone to replace cascading conditionals with BPMN process models that both engineers and business could read. I've led architecture for international automotive marketplaces, built ERP systems for organizations managing 4,000+ licensed professionals, and delivered cloud-native infrastructure from zero to scale on AWS.

My approach hasn't changed in twenty years: domain model first, implementation second. SOLID, DDD, TDD, event-driven design — not as methodologies to put on a resume, but as the disciplines that determine whether a system survives its second year.
